AUCTION RULES AND PROCEDURES

1. Ruidoso Holiday Auction will be conducted starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 25th at the Ruidoso Convention Center

2. Items can be previewed at the Ruidoso Convention Center between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday, November 24th.

3. All auction purchases are subject to a ten-percent (10%) Buyer’s Premium added to the total purchase price plus retail sales tax.

4. All bidders must register with the auction accounting department in order to bid on the items. Registration will begin on Friday, November 24th.

5. Bidders will be given a number to use during the auction when they register. The number will be associated with all winning bids.

6. Everything in the auction is sold AS IS, WHERE IS with no guarantees of any kind. Buyers are urged to inspect goods before bidding.

7. All purchases in the auction must be paid for SAME DAY regardless of when they are removed from the Convention Center.

8. If a winning bidder fails to purchase the item SAME DAY, the auctioneer may accept the second-highest bid.

9. All final decisions regarding purchase of items will be made by Keithley Auctions Inc.

10. All purchased items must be removed from the Convention Center no later that 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 26th.

11. Telephone and Advance Bidding: Telephone or Advance Bids can be accepted by the auctioneer during the auction process. If you are requesting to bid on items by telephone, you must pre-register and provide a number that the auction staff can use to contact you when a particular item is being sold. While every effort will be made by the auction staff to help bidders participate in the live auction via telephone, no guarantees of bid acceptance is implied.

12. Keithley Auctions accepts payment in the form of credit card or check. A bank letter that guarantees funds is required for any check written in an amount more than $10,000.

13. Keithley Auctions is not responsible for any damage of auction property that may occur following the sale of the item. All sales are final and occur at the time the auctioneer indicates the item has been sold.

14. Additional rules may be announced at the time of the sale and take precedent over written rules. All decisions concerning the auction are made by Keithley Auctions and are final.
